The problem with procrastination

Well simply you don't seem to get done what you need to.  For some of us that means other things get completed instead, ie laundry, cleaning, bills etc.

I once heard an analogy where a boy was told to clean his room.  He didn't really want to do it, he had some other chores around the house and one of them was to mow the lawn so he decided to that instead.  When he had finished he came in the house and announced "I have mowed the lawn" expecting to be praised, instead his mother was cross and disappointed because he had not cleaned his room.  He felt slighted and unappreciated but the fault lay with him.  He had decided not to do as asked, so it didn't matter what else he did. How many of us in our daily lives do the same thing at work, school or at home?

Well I am right now so I had better go back to the books and study for my exam on Thursday.
